The 3M 7010329030 is a Scotch-Brite Cut and Polish Unitized Wheel designed for aggressive deburring, blending, and finishing on harder metals. The tightly layered, non-woven construction delivers controlled abrasive action without undercutting or gouging the workpiece surface. Available in medium to hard densities, this wheel maintains a high concentration of abrasive mineral throughout its life, producing a consistent, bright finish from first use to last. It is well suited for hand-tool or bench applications where portability and small-diameter formats are required. Metal fabricators, weld shops, and maintenance technicians working on stainless steel, carbon steel, and high-nickel alloys are the primary users.
This unitized wheel is used in deburring, surface blending, and finish work across industrial and fabrication environments. It is particularly effective on harder metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, and high-nickel alloys. The 6-inch diameter and 5/8-inch arbor sizing make it compatible with common right-angle grinders and bench-mounted spindles. Its compact format supports portable fieldwork as well as fixed-station finishing operations. The wheel can run in either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, offering flexibility in tool setup and operator preference.
Designed for use on stainless steel, carbon steel, and high-nickel alloys. Fits right-angle grinders and bench spindles with a 5/8-inch arbor accepting a 6-inch diameter wheel.
Installation and wheel changes should be performed by a qualified operator following the tool manufacturer's mounting instructions and applicable ANSI B7.1 safety standards. Power down and disconnect the grinder or spindle completely before mounting or removing the wheel. Verify that the arbor size, maximum RPM rating of the wheel, and the tool's rated speed are compatible before operation. Inspect the wheel for damage prior to each use and do not exceed the rated operating speed.
