The 3M 7010328721 is a Brite flat part deburring bonded brush designed for industrial deburring of flat workpieces. It consists of abrasive discs bonded to a steel core, producing a rigid, high-density construction that delivers consistent material removal with low conformability. The abrasive mineral is medium-grade aluminum oxide, a durable cutting medium suited to ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 7A density rating indicates a hard brush configuration built for long service life in demanding production environments. At 20 pounds, this is a full-size tool intended for stationary or machine-mounted deburring operations.
This brush is used in metalworking and fabrication shops for deburring flat parts on automated or semi-automated finishing equipment. The bonded disc construction makes it appropriate for high-production lines where consistent edge conditioning and surface finishing are required on flat stock, sheet metal, or machined components. It is suited to applications where a conformable wire brush would be too aggressive or inconsistent.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit bonded deburring brush for stationary and machine-mounted flat part deburring equipment using a 3-inch arbor bore and accepting a 6-inch face width brush.
Installation should be performed by qualified metalworking or machine maintenance personnel. De-energize and lock out the deburring machine before mounting or removing the brush, following OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Verify that the machine spindle speed rating is compatible with the brush before operation. Inspect the brush and core for damage before each use and ensure the arbor and mounting hardware are properly secured.
