The 3M 7010326791 is a 4-inch Cubitron II Roloc abrasive disc in the 984F series, engineered for metalworking applications that demand fast stock removal and extended disc life. It uses 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain (PSG), a triangular ceramic abrasive that maintains sharp cutting points throughout the disc's life. This design enables aggressive cutting at lower applied pressure compared to conventional aluminum oxide or zirconia abrasives. A built-in grinding aid reduces heat buildup at the work surface, making this disc well-suited for stainless steel and other heat-sensitive alloys. Licensed trades and fabrication shops rely on this disc for demanding grinding tasks.
This disc is designed for weld grinding, beveling, flame-cut edge clean-up, and deburring on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The Roloc quick-change attachment system allows fast swaps between grit grades or disc types without tools, reducing downtime during production runs. The YF-weight backing supports medium to high-pressure grinding, making it appropriate for both handheld right-angle grinders in field work and benchtop setups in fabrication environments. At 80 grit, it provides an aggressive cut suitable for initial weld blending and edge preparation rather than finish grinding.
Designed for use with Roloc-compatible right-angle grinders and die grinders accepting 4-inch quick-change abrasive discs. Suitable for metalworking applications including weld grinding, beveling, flame-cut edge clean-up, and deburring on ferrous metals, stainless steel, and other heat-sensitive alloys.
Install this disc on a Roloc-compatible grinder that is fully powered off and unplugged before attachment. Verify the grinder's rated RPM meets or exceeds the disc's maximum rated speed before use. Always wear appropriate PPE including face shield, gloves, and hearing protection when operating grinding equipment. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc showing cracks, tears, or delamination.
