The 3M 7010326491 is an aluminum oxide coated abrasive cloth belt in the 341D series, designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and woodworking surface preparation. Built on an X-weight cloth backing with a resin bond system, it handles high heat and heavy sanding pressure without breaking down prematurely. The P100 grit aluminum oxide mineral cuts fast and maintains performance across metal and wood substrates. At 21 inches long and 3 inches wide, this belt is suited for portable belt sanders, edge sanders, and wide belt machines. Licensed trade pros and skilled fabricators rely on this format for consistent stock removal and surface finishing.
This belt is designed for wide belt sanding, edge sanding, and portable belt sanding applications. It fits onto a rubber expander wheel attachment used with a die grinder or rotary drill, making it effective for reaching inner and outer contours to remove parting lines, imperfections, and burrs on metal and wood workpieces. It is appropriate for both shop and field use in metal fabrication, HVAC duct fabrication, and general maintenance environments where controlled material removal is required.
Designed for use with portable belt sanders, edge sanders, wide belt machines, and rubber expander wheel attachments used with die grinders or rotary drills. Rubber expander wheel attachment is sold separately.
Installation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with abrasive belt equipment. Ensure the machine or tool is fully powered down and disconnected from its power source before changing belts. Verify that belt size matches the machine specifications and that tracking is properly adjusted before operation. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when handling abrasive belts and operating grinding or sanding equipment.
