The 3M 7010326409 is a coated abrasive belt built for high-volume sanding and finishing applications. It uses a premium aluminum oxide mineral bonded to an F-weight paper backing — one of the heaviest and most rigid paper substrates available in abrasive belts. At P150 grit, it sits in the fine-finishing range, producing smoother surface profiles than cloth-backed belts at the same grade. The open coat construction resists loading, keeping the belt cutting freely during extended runs. Anti-static treatment further manages dust and debris buildup. This belt measures 103 inches in length and 50 inches in width, sized for wide-belt industrial sanders.
This belt is suited for woodworking shops, cabinet shops, flooring operations, and industrial finishing lines running wide-belt or drum sander equipment. At P150 grit, it is typically used in intermediate to final finishing passes on wood panels, MDF, and similar flat stock. The F-weight backing delivers consistent dimensional stability under belt-tension conditions, making it appropriate for production environments where belt tracking and longevity are priorities. Installation and operation require no directional orientation — the belt runs efficiently in either direction.
Designed for use on wide-belt and drum sander machines accepting 103-inch by 50-inch abrasive belts. Verify machine belt-size specifications before installation.
Wide-belt sander belts should be installed by qualified maintenance personnel or machine operators familiar with the equipment. Power down and lock out the sander before changing belts. Confirm proper belt tracking alignment and tension per the machine manufacturer's guidelines before resuming operation. Inspect the splice area for integrity before each use.
