The 3M 7010326315 is a Trizact 237AA abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications in industrial and metalworking environments. It uses 3M microreplication technology, forming micron-graded aluminum oxide particles into precision pyramidal structures bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear down during use, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed. This self-renewing cutting action delivers a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine finish throughout the life of the belt. It measures 18 inches in length and 1/2 inch in width. Licensed tradespeople and finishing operators use this belt in both manual and automated robotic systems.
This belt is well suited for finishing metal components ahead of plating or buffing operations. Its flexible cloth backing conforms to contoured surfaces, making it effective on curved parts as well as flat stock. The three-dimensional abrasive structure maintains finish consistency from start to finish, which is especially valuable in robotic or automated finishing lines where repeatability is critical. It is typically used in fabrication shops, precision metalworking facilities, and industrial finishing operations where tight surface finish tolerances are required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use abrasive belt for standard belt finishing machines and robotic finishing systems that accept 18-inch by 1/2-inch abrasive belts.
Belt installation should be performed by a qualified machine operator or finishing technician following the equipment manufacturer's guidelines. Always power down and lockout the belt finishing machine before changing abrasive belts. Confirm belt tracking and tension per machine specifications before resuming operation. Inspect the belt for tears or delamination before each use.
