The 3M 7010326164 is an aluminum oxide coated abrasive cloth belt in the 341D series, designed for metal deburring, general metalworking, and woodworking applications. Built on an X-weight cloth backing, this belt handles heavy sanding and grinding without breaking down under high heat or pressure. The resin bond system holds the aluminum oxide mineral firmly, allowing fast cutting action across a range of metal and wood substrates. At 132 inches in length and 3 inches in width with a P120 grit rating, it suits wide belt, edge, and portable belt sanding setups. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and general trade technicians performing surface prep or deburring work on metal components will find this belt a reliable shop consumable.
This belt is well suited for metal deburring, parting line removal, and imperfection cleanup on metal substrates, as well as general woodworking surface preparation. Its tube-shaped band profile allows it to conform to inner and outer contours, making it effective for detailed deburring passes. The belt can also be mounted on a rubber expander wheel attachment, sold separately, for use with a die grinder or rotary drill, extending its versatility to portable grinding applications in the field or shop.
Designed for use with wide belt, edge, and portable belt sanding equipment; also fits rubber expander wheel attachments for use with die grinders and rotary drills when paired with the appropriate wheel accessory sold separately.
Installation and belt changes should be performed with the machine fully powered down and unplugged. Ensure the belt tracking and tension are set according to the sander or grinder manufacturer guidelines before operation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and gloves, when handling abrasive belts and operating grinding or sanding equipment. Inspect the belt for tears or damage before each use and replace if wear is uneven or the backing shows signs of separation.
