The 3M 7010325971 is a Trizact 237AA coated abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing in demanding industrial and automated applications. It uses 3M microreplication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear down, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed, delivering a consistent cut rate and predictable surface finish throughout the belt's working life. The gray cloth backing measures 60 inches in length and 2 inches in width and provides the flexibility needed to conform to contoured workpiece surfaces.
This belt is suited for metal fabrication environments where repeatable, fine surface finishes are required prior to plating, buffing, or other post-processing steps. It performs reliably in both manual and robotic grinding and finishing operations. The self-sharpening pyramid structure runs cooler than conventional abrasives, reducing heat buildup on the workpiece and extending usable belt life. Fabricators, tool and die shops, and finishing operations working with steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar metals use this belt in wide-contact and narrow-contact belt grinder configurations.

Belt installation should be performed by a qualified operator following the belt grinder manufacturer's guidelines. Power down and lock out the machine before changing the belt. Verify belt tracking and tension per the equipment manufacturer's specifications before resuming operation. Inspect the belt for tears or edge damage before each use.
