The 3M 7010325845 is a coated abrasive belt designed for high-output stock removal and metal finishing on grinding and sanding equipment. It combines ceramic abrasive grain with aluminum oxide in a blend that cuts faster and lasts longer than standard aluminum oxide belts. The heavyweight polyester cloth backing handles high-pressure contact wheel and platen applications without breaking down. A durable resin bond resists heat buildup, and a built-in grinding aid further reduces heat when working stainless steel or other heat-sensitive metals. The belt runs 36 inches long and 4 inches wide at 80 grit and can be used dry or with a liquid lubricant.
This belt is suited for fabrication shops, weld grinding, deburring, and surface conditioning on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The orange-colored 777F series is a common choice for metalworking operations that demand consistent cut rate over a full belt life. Licensed trades and industrial grinding operators working on pipe, plate, structural steel, or stainless fabrications will find this belt appropriate for both dry bench grinding and wet finishing setups.
Designed as a direct-fit coated abrasive belt for belt grinders, file belt machines, and wide-stroke sanders accepting a 36-inch by 4-inch belt configuration.
Installation is performed by qualified grinding equipment operators or maintenance trades familiar with abrasive belt machinery. Power down and lockout the grinder before mounting or removing any belt. Confirm belt tracking and tension according to the equipment manufacturer guidelines before running under load. Inspect the belt for tears or edge damage prior to each use and replace immediately if defects are found.
