The 3M 7010325551 is a 3-inch coated abrasive disc in the Roloc 777F line, engineered for trade and industrial grinding and finishing work. It combines ceramic abrasive grain with aluminum oxide in a blended mineral system that self-sharpens during use, delivering a consistent cut rate and extended disc life compared to aluminum oxide alone. The heavy polyester backing is water-resistant and rated for medium-pressure applications in both wet and dry environments. A grinding aid is built into the disc to reduce heat buildup, making it suitable for heat-sensitive alloys including stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium. Fabricators, metalworkers, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers and users of this disc.
This disc is designed for stock removal and finishing applications on metal surfaces. The 60-grit ceramic blend is well suited for aggressive material removal on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The water-resistant polyester backing supports use in wet grinding scenarios common in metal fabrication shops, shipyards, and field maintenance environments where coolant or water-based cutting fluids are present. The Roloc quick-change attachment system allows fast disc swaps on compatible angle grinders and die grinders without tools, reducing downtime during production runs.
