This diamond lapping film disc is suited for flat lapping applications on ceramics, carbide tooling, optical components, fiber optic connectors, and other hard-to-abrade materials. This disc is installed by precision machinists or technicians performing flat lapping or surface finishing operations. Before mounting, ensure the lapping plate surface is clean and free of debris to allow full PSA contact. Peel the backing and press the disc firmly onto the plate, working from the center outward to eliminate air pockets. Do not reuse a disc once removed, as the adhesive may not re-seat flat.
