The 3M 7010310003 is a non-woven Roloc surface conditioning disc designed for deburring, blending, cleaning, and finishing on metal and contoured surfaces. The open-web, non-woven fiber construction conforms to irregular profiles, reducing the risk of gouging or over-cutting on shaped workpieces. The aluminum oxide abrasive provides consistent cut, while the integrated Roloc quick-change backing allows fast disc swaps during multi-step finishing operations. Rated to 18000 RPM, this disc is suited for use with compatible right-angle die grinders and finishing tools. Each disc measures 3 inches in diameter and weighs approximately 0.04 pounds.
This disc is used in metal fabrication, maintenance, and finishing applications where surface conditioning without aggressive material removal is required. Typical scenarios include weld blending, light deburring, and prep work on mild steel, stainless, and aluminum. The conformable construction makes it a practical choice for curved or contoured workpiece geometry where rigid abrasives would leave uneven finishes. It is commonly installed by metalworkers, maintenance technicians, and fabrication professionals working with angle grinders or die grinders equipped with a Roloc-compatible arbor.
Designed for use with Roloc quick-change compatible right-angle die grinders and finishing tools that accept 3 inch non-woven conditioning discs.
Installation is performed by metalworkers and fabrication technicians using a Roloc-compatible mandrel or arbor. Before mounting, confirm the grinder is powered off and disconnected from its air or electrical source. Thread the disc onto the Roloc mandrel until seated, and verify it is secure before operation. Do not exceed the rated maximum speed of 18000 RPM.
