The 3M 7010309547 is a Scotch-Brite Roloc SE-DA Surface Conditioning Disc designed for cleaning, blending, deburring, and finishing on a variety of metal workpieces. Built with a non-woven open web construction and aluminum oxide abrasive mineral, this 3-inch diameter disc operates at up to 18000 RPM. The coarse grade delivers aggressive material removal while the low-stretch disc body maintains dimensional stability under high-pressure use. The Roloc attachment system allows fast, secure mounting and removal without tools. Licensed metalworking and fabrication professionals are the primary installers and users of this disc.
This disc is suited for both light and heavy-duty surface conditioning tasks across ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Typical applications include weld blending, edge deburring, pre-paint surface preparation, and finishing passes over contoured or detailed surfaces. The non-woven web resists loading, which reduces heat buildup and minimizes the risk of part discoloration. It is commonly used with right-angle die grinders and surface conditioning tools equipped with a Roloc-compatible mandrel in metal fabrication, maintenance, and repair environments.
Designed for use with Roloc-compatible right-angle die grinders and surface conditioning tool mandrels rated for discs up to 3 inches in diameter and a maximum of 18000 RPM.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified metalworking or maintenance professionals familiar with abrasive disc safety practices. Always verify the tool spindle speed does not exceed the disc maximum rating of 18000 RPM before mounting. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc showing tears, fraying, or deformation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection and gloves during operation.
