It uses microreplication technology in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into uniform three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to a flexible rayon cloth backing. As the abrasive pyramids wear during use, fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed at the cutting surface. This self-renewing action produces a consistent cut rate and a predictable, fine finish throughout the life of the belt. The belt measures 132 inches in length and 3 inches in width and is suited for industrial and automated finishing environments.
