The 3M 7010309296 is an aluminum oxide unitized deburring wheel built for aggressive material removal on metal workpieces. The wheel carries a Density 8 Hard grade rating, meaning the abrasive fibers are tightly packed and resistant to breakdown under load. At a rated maximum of 30,100 RPM, it is suited for use with high-speed rotary tools common in fabrication and finishing shops. The wheel measures 1-1/2 inches in diameter with a 1/4 inch face width and a 3/16 inch center hole. Machinists, fabricators, and tool-and-die techs are the primary installers and users of this product.
This deburring wheel is designed for use on centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. Its coarse grade and unitized construction make it a practical choice for deburring, blending, and light surface conditioning on steel, stainless steel, and similar metals in production or maintenance environments. The compact diameter suits tight-clearance applications where larger wheels cannot reach.
Compatible with centerless grinders, die grinders, inline sanders, manual backstands, and pressure assist backstands. The 3/16 inch center hole requires a matching mandrel arbor. Specification code 8ACRS applies to this wheel.
This wheel is installed by machinists or fabricators onto an appropriate mandrel before mounting in the host tool. Confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 30,100 RPM maximum rating before operation. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and discard if any defect is found. Follow all applicable ANSI B7 safety standards for abrasive wheel mounting and use, including the use of appropriate eye and face protection.
