The 3M 7010308258 is a Trizact 307EA coated abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications. It uses 3M microreplication technology, in which micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into uniform three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to a flexible rayon backing. As the pyramids wear down during use, fresh abrasive mineral is continuously exposed, delivering a consistent cut rate and a predictable fine finish from the beginning of the belt's life to the end. This belt measures 15.5 inches in length and 3.5 inches in width and is suited for use in automated and robotic finishing lines as well as manual hand-belt applications.
This belt is designed for metalworking finishing operations, particularly intermediate stock removal and fine polishing steps prior to plating, buffing, or other surface treatment processes.
