The 3M 7010308241 is a Trizact 237AA coated abrasive belt engineered for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications. It uses 3M microreplication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral is formed into three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear during use, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, producing a consistent cut rate and a predictable fine finish throughout the life of the belt. At 24 inches long and 1/4 inch wide, this belt is suited for narrow contact-wheel and file-belt finishing operations performed by metalworking professionals and precision fabricators.
This belt is designed for use on metals in applications requiring controlled, repeatable surface finishes prior to plating, buffing, or final polishing. The flexible cloth backing conforms to contours, making it appropriate for both flat and curved workpiece profiles. Its three-dimensional abrasive structure is particularly well suited for automated and robotic finishing lines where consistent finish output across belt life is critical.
