The 3M 7010304076 is a fully insulated male wire disconnect terminal designed for quick-connect and quick-disconnect wiring applications in electrical, HVAC, and light industrial work. The terminal accepts 22-18 AWG wire and features a 1/4 inch tab width for standard disconnect receptacles. The nylon insulation is color-coded red, consistent with the 22-18 AWG wire range convention used across the trade. This pack contains 100 terminals, making it a practical bench stock item for service vans, panel shops, and assembly work. The design meets RoHS 2011/65/EU compliance requirements for restricted substances.
Male wire disconnect terminals of this type are used wherever a removable solderless connection is needed on low-voltage control circuits, motor leads, fan assemblies, and accessory wiring in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, as well as general electrical panels and appliance wiring. The 1/4 inch tab is a common industry-standard size that mates with a wide range of female disconnect receptacles and harness connectors. These terminals are installed with a dedicated crimping tool sized for insulated terminals in the 22-18 AWG range.
Designed for use with 22-18 AWG wire and standard 1/4 inch female quick-disconnect receptacles. Suitable for solderless crimp termination in residential and light commercial electrical and HVAC control wiring applications.
Installation requires a ratcheting or plier-style crimping tool rated for insulated terminals in the 22-18 AWG range. De-energize the circuit before terminating or disconnecting any wiring. Inspect the crimp for proper seating before pulling the wire through the insulation body. NEC Article 110 workmanship requirements apply to all terminal connections in listed electrical equipment.
