The 3M 7010303651 is a Highland series twist-on wire connector sold individually and rated for 22 to 16 AWG solid or stranded copper conductors. The blue shell is color-coded to simplify conductor-size matching in the field, reducing mismatches during termination work. Rated at 300 volts, the connector is UL Listed and CSA Certified. The thermoplastic shell is engineered to withstand continuous service temperatures up to 221 degrees F (105 degrees C), making it suitable for use in junction boxes, panels, and fixtures where elevated temperatures are a factor.
This connector is suited to residential and light commercial electrical work, including branch circuit terminations, fixture wiring, and device connections. Electricians and maintenance technicians use it wherever a reliable, insulated twist-on connection is needed for smaller-gauge conductors in the 22 to 16 AWG range. The color-coded shell allows quick visual identification when multiple wire sizes are present on the same job.
Designed as an OEM-style twist-on wire connector for use with 22 to 16 AWG solid or stranded copper conductors in standard residential and commercial electrical junction and termination applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) requirements. De-energize the circuit at the breaker and verify absence of voltage with a meter before making any connections. Strip conductors to the appropriate length, twist the connector clockwise until firm resistance is felt, and confirm no bare conductor is exposed below the shell. Do not use on aluminum conductors unless the connector is specifically rated for aluminum.
