The 3M 7010299386 Fastbond Foam Adhesive 100NF is a water-dispersed neoprene contact adhesive formulated for bonding porous substrates to both porous and non-porous surfaces. Supplied in a 270-gallon poly tote, this large-format packaging suits high-volume production and industrial fabrication environments. The adhesive reaches tack within 15 seconds, allowing seams and curves to be held quickly during assembly. After cure, it delivers foam-tearing bond strength, meaning the foam substrate fails before the adhesive joint. Licensed applicators, fabricators, and production line operators are the primary installers of this product.
Fastbond 100NF is designed for manufacturing and fabrication applications where flexible polyurethane foam, latex foam, foam-backed fabric, polyester fiberfill, wood, plywood, particleboard, and many plastic and metal surfaces must be bonded efficiently. It is well suited to upholstered furniture production, automotive seating fabrication, mattress manufacturing, and similar industrial assembly lines where contact adhesive is applied by spray, brush, or roll coater in volume quantities. Minimal dry time between application and bond formation keeps production throughput high.
Designed for bonding many types of flexible polyurethane foam, latex foam fabric, polyester fiberfill, wood, plywood, particleboard, and many plastic and metal surfaces in industrial fabrication and assembly applications.
This adhesive is applied by trained fabricators or production personnel using spray equipment, brushes, or roll coaters suited for water-based contact adhesives. Apply to both surfaces, allow adequate open time, then bring surfaces into contact with firm pressure for proper bond formation. Work in areas with adequate ventilation in accordance with applicable safety data sheet guidance and local regulations. Review the full SDS before handling or storing this product in bulk tote quantities.
