The 3M 7010298876 is a Trizact 237AA abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications. It uses 3M microreplication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide particles are formed into three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X-weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear during use, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, delivering a consistent cut rate and predictable finish from start to end of belt life. The cloth backing provides flexibility for work on contoured surfaces. This belt is suited for metalworking operations prior to plating or buffing.
This belt is used in industrial and manufacturing environments where controlled, repeatable surface finishes are required. It performs well in both manual and robotic grinding and finishing applications. The three-dimensional abrasive structure supports consistent finishes throughout the life of the belt, making it particularly well suited for automated or high-volume production lines.
