The 3M 7000133685 is a heat shrink thin-wall tubing sleeve from the EPS-300 series, designed for environmental protection and electrical insulation in wiring and cable applications. Constructed as a thin-wall tube, it shrinks down over splices, terminals, and conductor ends to seal out moisture, contaminants, and mechanical abrasion. Each piece measures 6 inches in length with a 3/4-inch diameter. The black color provides UV resistance and easy visual identification in finished installations. This product is sold in packs of 10 pieces and is a standard consumable for electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades performing wire termination and harness repair work.
This tubing is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, low-voltage control wiring, and field repair of wire harnesses in HVAC equipment, pool and spa systems, and general electrical panels. It applies wherever conductors or connections need insulation and environmental protection after splicing or termination. The 6-inch cut length accommodates most standard splice and terminal applications without trimming.
Designed as a general-purpose heat shrink sleeving for electrical insulation and environmental protection on wire splices, terminals, and conductor ends across trade applications.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified HVAC and low-voltage technicians. De-energize all circuits before applying heat shrink sleeving to any conductor or terminal. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun, working from the center outward to prevent air pockets or uneven shrinkage. Follow applicable NEC requirements for insulation type and voltage rating when selecting sleeving for specific applications.
