The 3M 7000133637 is a thin-wall heat shrink tubing from the FP-301 series, designed for electrical insulation, strain relief, and bundling in industrial and military-grade applications. Manufactured from a polyolefin compound, FP-301 tubing shrinks uniformly when heat is applied, creating a tight, protective sleeve over wire terminations, splices, and cable assemblies. The nominal size is 3/32 inch in diameter, and each piece measures 48 inches in length. This SKU ships in a pack of 25 pieces. The clear finish allows visual inspection of the underlying conductor or marking after installation. Licensed electricians, maintenance technicians, and military MRO contractors are the typical installers of this product.
FP-301 thin-wall heat shrink tubing is suited for a broad range of industrial and military wiring applications where reliable electrical insulation and environmental protection are required. The 3/32 inch diameter accommodates small-gauge conductors and wire bundles commonly found in control panels, instrumentation wiring, avionics, and low-voltage electrical assemblies. The clear color is well suited for applications where component identification or wire labeling must remain visible after the tubing is applied.
Designed as an OEM-style heat shrink solution for small-gauge wire insulation, bundling, and strain relief in industrial and military electrical assemblies.
Heat shrink tubing is installed by licensed electricians and qualified technicians. De-energize and lock out all circuits before working on any wiring or terminations in accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) and applicable LOTO procedures. Apply uniform heat using a heat gun rated for heat shrink work, moving the gun continuously to avoid scorching. Do not use an open flame to shrink the tubing.
