The 3M 7000133577 is a flexible polyolefin heat shrink tubing designed to protect electronic components, insulate wire splices, and bundle wire runs in electrical and low-voltage applications. The EPS200 series tubing shrinks when heat is applied, conforming tightly around conductors or connections to provide a durable, moisture-resistant barrier. At 0.5 inches in diameter and 48 inches in length, this tubing suits a wide range of field terminations and panel wiring tasks encountered by electricians and electronics technicians.
This tubing is appropriate for residential and light commercial electrical work, control wiring, and electronic component protection. It is commonly used when terminating low-voltage wiring, protecting wire splices inside enclosures, or organizing and bundling conductors in control panels and junction boxes. The flexible polyolefin construction allows the tubing to conform to irregular shapes and remain flexible after shrinking, making it well suited to tight routing in control cabinets and equipment assemblies.
Designed as an OEM-style protective sleeving solution for wire splices, electronic component insulation, and conductor bundling in low-voltage and line-voltage electrical assemblies.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified technicians following applicable NEC guidelines. De-energize all circuits before applying heat shrink tubing to any splice or connection. Use a heat gun set to the appropriate temperature for polyolefin tubing; open flame sources are not recommended as they can cause uneven shrinkage or material damage. Allow the tubing to cool fully before restoring power to the circuit.
