At 1 inch overall length and 0.03 inches thick, this terminal provides a secure mechanical lock around the stud fastener, reducing the risk of accidental disconnection under vibration or movement. The blue color coding indicates compatibility with the standard 16-14 AWG wire range typically associated with blue-coded terminals. Electricians and panel technicians use these terminals when a reliable, semi-permanent ring-style connection is needed but with the serviceability of a fork design.
