The 3M 7000133380 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimp connections on 12 to 10 AWG copper wire. The barrel and ring are constructed with a copper contact, and the insulation sleeve is heat shrink material, providing a secure, weather-resistant seal after installation. At 1.2 inches long and 0.59 inches wide with a thickness of 0.04 inches, the terminal fits a 1/4-inch stud and is color-coded yellow for quick AWG identification in the field. Electricians and panel technicians use these terminals when terminating stranded or solid wire to bus bars, lugs, or equipment ground points.
These ring terminals are suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, panel terminations, control wiring, and equipment grounding applications. The 1/4-inch stud size is a common fit for breaker panels, junction boxes, and motor terminal blocks. The yellow color coding aligns with the 12 to 10 AWG range, making wire sorting and inspection faster during rough-in or service work. Each package contains 25 terminals, making this an appropriate quantity for single-job or small-batch use. The heat shrink insulation sleeve adds mechanical protection at the barrel-to-wire transition point.
Designed for use with 12 to 10 AWG wire on 1/4-inch stud terminations in residential and commercial electrical panel, grounding, and control wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or inspecting any ring terminal connection. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for the terminal and wire gauge to ensure a full, gas-tight crimp. Do not solder over a crimped connection, as this can create a stress point at the barrel edge.
