The 3M 7000132520 is a heat shrinkable medium-wall cable sleeve designed for demanding electrical insulation and protection applications. Built from split-resistant cross-linked polyolefin, this sleeve delivers strong resistance to abrasion, corrosion, and chemical exposure. It ships as a 25 ft reel in uncoated form, making it well suited for cut-to-length field applications. The IMCSN series sits between standard thin-wall and the heavier ITCSN product line, offering greater flexibility than the heavy-wall version while maintaining reliable mechanical protection. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this product during cable insulation, bus bar work, and phase rejacketing tasks.
This cable sleeve covers wire and cable in the 2-2/0 AWG range and is intended for both bus bar insulation and phase rejacketing applications. The uncoated 25 ft reel format is suited for commercial and industrial electrical work where installers cut sleeves to the required length on site. The cross-linked polyolefin construction performs well in environments where cables face mechanical stress, moisture exposure, or chemical contact. Note that the 48-inch pre-cut lengths of this sleeve family come with a factory-applied thermoplastic adhesive sealant; the 25 ft reel version covered by this SKU is uncoated.

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before applying the sleeve. Use a calibrated heat gun to apply uniform heat during shrinking; avoid open-flame torches, which can scorch the material or produce uneven shrink. Ensure the cable surface is clean and dry before installation to promote proper fit.
