The 3M 7000132370 is a heavy-wall, heat-shrinkable cable sleeve designed for electrical splices, connections, and terminations in systems rated up to 1 kV. Constructed from cross-linked polyolefin with a factory-applied internal adhesive and sealant, the sleeve provides both mechanical and environmental protection once installed. At 9 inches in length, it is supplied as a cut-to-length sleeve that shrinks rapidly, reducing installation time in the field. The adhesive liner flows during shrink to seal out moisture and resist contaminants. UL Listed 486D for 600V (File Number E102356) and CSA rated, making it suitable for use on code-compliant electrical work. This sleeve is installed by licensed electricians on low-voltage power cable systems.
This sleeve is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical applications where cable splices and terminations require durable insulation and environmental sealing. The 1 kV rating covers most low-voltage power distribution work. The ITCSN-0800 series targets medium to larger cable outside diameters, and the 9-inch length accommodates standard splice configurations. A minimum order quantity of 25 units applies. The sleeve ships in box packaging per the supplier listing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment sleeve for low-voltage electrical cable splices, connections, and terminations on systems rated up to 1 kV.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician. De-energize and lock out the circuit before applying any cable sleeve. Use a calibrated heat gun to apply uniform heat around the sleeve, working from the center outward to prevent air pockets and ensure full adhesive flow. Follow NEC requirements for the applicable cable type and splice configuration.
