The 3M 7000126658 is a heavy-duty painter's tape engineered for adhesion to rough, non-damageable surfaces where standard painter's tapes fail to bond or hold. Featuring a very strong natural rubber adhesive, it grips concrete, brick, stucco, and rough wood firmly throughout the job and releases cleanly without leaving sticky residue. The tape holds for up to 5 days in interior applications and 3 days in exterior applications, then removes by lifting and pulling back at a 45-degree angle once the paint is dry to the touch. Each roll measures 1.88 inches wide by 60.1 yards long.

This tape is suited for commercial and residential painting projects where surface texture would prevent standard masking tape from sealing properly. It is recommended for use with or on lacquer coatings. Installation Notes

Apply tape to a clean, dry surface before painting. Wait until paint is dry to the touch before removal. Lift a corner and pull the tape back on itself slowly at a 45-degree angle to minimize edge tearing and residue. Do not leave tape on exterior surfaces beyond 3 days or interior surfaces beyond 5 days, as adhesion may increase and clean removal cannot be guaranteed.
