The 3M 7000126031 is a probed reusable respirator assembly designed exclusively for conducting quantitative fit testing on 3M 6000 Series respirators. The assembly includes a probed facepiece and P100 filters in a large size configuration. It is not intended for respiratory protection and must not be used as a working respirator. Industrial hygienists, safety professionals, and fit-test technicians use this assembly in controlled fit-testing environments to verify proper respirator seal on the wearer. The probed design allows a particle counter or equivalent quantitative fit-test instrument to sample air inside the facepiece during the test protocol.
This assembly is used in workplace safety programs that require quantitative respirator fit testing per applicable regulatory and industry standards. It is suited for facilities where workers are assigned 3M 6000 Series half-facepiece respirators and require documented fit-test results. The large size accommodates fit-test subjects with larger facial dimensions. Sold in a minimum quantity of four units per order, making it practical for high-volume fit-testing programs or multi-site safety departments.
Designed for use in quantitative fit testing of 3M 6000 Series reusable respirators. Not compatible with or intended for use as a protective respirator in any exposure environment.
This assembly is handled by trained fit-test administrators, industrial hygienists, or safety officers — not field installation technicians. Before conducting a fit test, confirm the test instrument is calibrated and the test subject understands the protocol. Follow all applicable OSHA respiratory protection program requirements and the fit-test procedure outlined in 29 CFR 1910.134 Appendix A. Do not modify the probe port or attempt to use this assembly as a standard respirator.
