The 3M 7000126003 is a flame-resistant, woven nylon hook fastener sold in a 2-inch-wide by 50-yard roll. It carries no pressure-sensitive adhesive — attachment is achieved entirely through reclosable hook-and-loop engagement with a mating loop tape. The engaged system thickness measures 0.15 inches. This fastener is rated for continuous use up to 250 degrees F and meets the FAR 25.853 paragraph (a)(1)(i) 60-second vertical burn test, making it suitable for aerospace, transportation, and protective-garment applications where flame resistance is a regulatory requirement. Licensed trades and fabricators working under those flammability standards will find this tape meets documentation-level compliance out of the roll.
This fastener is designed for use in garment and soft-goods fabrication where adjustable, reclosable closures are required on flame-resistant or fire-rated materials. Typical applications include FR workwear, aircraft cabin interiors, transit seating upholstery, and protective outerwear. The woven nylon construction is preshrunk for dimensional stability, and the fastener is rated washable and dry-cleanable, supporting repeated industrial laundering cycles. The white colorway provides a finished, tailored appearance on light-colored fabrics and garments.
Designed to mate with 3M SJ3418FR loop fastener as part of a matched flame-resistant reclosable fastener system. Suitable for use on garments, fabrics, and soft panels requiring FAR 25.853-compliant hook-and-loop closures.
This fastener has no adhesive and is intended to be sewn onto fabric or soft panels by a qualified seamstress, upholsterer, or fabricator. Sew along both long edges for a secure, even bond and to prevent curl or lift at the edges. Before cutting to length, seal cut ends as needed to prevent nylon fiber fraying. Always confirm that the substrate material and any thread used also meet the applicable flammability standard for the finished assembly.
