The 3M 7000122087 is a Quick Change P.A.R.T. GP Disc designed for removing paint, primer, and anodized layers from electrical grounding contact points and small holes in metal surfaces. The 5/8 inch diameter disc uses an Aluminum Oxide mineral abrasive that cuts aggressively while leaving a controlled finish. Resin-reinforced nylon fibers provide durability through repeated use cycles. The disc is rated to 12000 RPM and attaches via a Quick Change TS interface, allowing fast swaps without additional tooling. A P.A.R.T. Disc Mandrel is required for use and is sold separately.

This disc is intended for use in electrical and metal fabrication applications where precise, localized surface preparation is required. The center hole diameter self-aligns with the workpiece hole, limiting abrasive contact to the interior of the hole and preserving the surrounding anodized layer.
