The 3M 7000122067 is a non-woven nylon abrasive disc designed for light deburring, surface cleaning, and final finishing on metalwork. Built from high-strength (HS) Buff and Blend material, the disc maintains stiffness under pressure and resists tearing or fraying when working edges or irregular surfaces. At 7 inches in diameter with a 1/2-inch arbor, it mounts on standard angle grinders and disc sanders. The Aluminum Oxide (AO) mineral provides a sharp, consistent cut that produces a uniform, smear-free scratch pattern on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The open web construction resists loading, extending service life in demanding applications.
This disc is suited for metal fabrication, maintenance, and finishing work in industrial and commercial shop environments. It performs well during final-pass finishing on weldments, light deburring of machined parts, and surface prep before coating or polishing. The dense, stiff construction holds up under high-pressure passes without folding, making it practical for production-rate work. Three grades are available within the product line: Coarse (CRS, green), Medium (MED, blue), and Very Fine (VFN, maroon), allowing selection based on the required level of aggressiveness and finish.
Designed for use on standard angle grinders and disc sanders accepting a 7-inch non-woven abrasive disc with a 1/2-inch arbor. Suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates.
Mounting and operation of abrasive discs should follow ANSI B7.1 safety standards and the tool manufacturer's guidelines. Verify the tool's maximum RPM rating meets or exceeds the disc's rated speed before mounting. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before changing discs. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and do not use if the material shows signs of tears or deterioration.
