The 3M 7000120994 is a non-woven quick-change abrasive disc designed for surface conditioning, blending, and finishing in metalworking and fabrication applications. Built around the Roloc TSM attaching system, the disc mounts and releases with a simple twist, reducing changeover time during production work. At 3 inches in diameter and rated to 18,000 RPM, it handles aggressive stock removal through fine surface prep depending on media contact pressure. The silicon carbide abrasive in a coarse grade cuts through light rust, scale, and surface oxidation without loading quickly on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

This disc is suited for use by HVAC sheet metal workers, pipefitters, welders, and maintenance technicians who need fast surface prep on ductwork, pipe ends, fittings, and structural steel. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation and disc changes must be performed with the grinder powered off and air supply disconnected or power unplugged. Thread the Roloc TSM hub mandrel into the grinder spindle per tool manufacturer specifications before attaching the disc. Press the disc onto the mandrel and twist to lock before operation, and confirm the disc is fully seated. Do not exceed the 18,000 RPM maximum speed rating marked on the disc.
