The 3M 7000120985 is a Scotch-Brite Roloc HP High Strength non-woven abrasive disc designed for light-duty deburring, heavy cleaning, blending, and finishing applications. Built with aluminum oxide mineral on an open-web non-woven fiber construction, the disc cuts fast and resists loading on both steel and aluminum surfaces. At 2 inches in diameter and rated to 12000 RPM, it fits compact angle grinders and die grinders used in fabrication and finishing work. A TSM quick-change metal attachment allows fast disc swapping during multi-step finishing processes without tools. Licensed trades, metal fabricators, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This disc is suited for light-duty deburring, surface preparation, blending, and finishing on steel and aluminum workpieces. Its small diameter allows access to tight spaces, corners, and contoured surfaces where larger discs cannot reach. The open-web construction prevents clogging during extended use, making it effective for both production and intermittent service work. It is more aggressive than the standard Scotch-Brite High Strength Disc, giving technicians a step up in cutting action for heavier blending tasks without switching to a bonded abrasive wheel.
Designed for use with TSM quick-change right-angle grinders and die grinders accepting 2-inch Roloc-style discs. Compatible with steel and aluminum workpiece materials in deburring, cleaning, and finishing applications.
Installation and disc changes should be performed with the grinder powered off and disconnected from its power source. Verify the grinder spindle speed does not exceed the 12000 RPM disc rating before mounting. Use the TSM quick-change attachment per the tool manufacturer's instructions to seat the disc fully before operation. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating rotary abrasive tools.
