The 3M 7000119248 is a coated abrasive disc roll from the 426U series, designed for high-production sanding environments where consistent finish quality matters. Each roll contains multiple 6-inch diameter discs pre-cut and ready to peel, featuring silicon carbide abrasive grain paired with an anti-load coating and open-coat construction. The combination minimizes loading and extends disc life through demanding finishing passes. A lightweight A-weight paper backing flexes with the backup pad to maintain consistent contact across the work surface. This product is suited for finish sanding tasks where clogging control and surface consistency are the primary concerns.
This disc roll is used across woodworking, cabinet finishing, auto body prep, and light fabrication applications. It performs well on white wood sanding, sealer sanding, and solid surface finishing where fine finish quality is critical. The silicon carbide grain and open-coat structure make it effective on wood, metal, plastic, drywall, fiberglass, glass, clear coat, and ceramic surfaces. The Stikita pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows fast attachment and clean removal from a compatible PSA backup pad, making it practical for multi-step finishing processes in production settings.
Designed for use with 6-inch PSA backup pads compatible with A-weight paper disc rolls. Suitable for production sanding applications on wood, metal, plastic, drywall, fiberglass, glass, clear coat, and ceramic surfaces.
Peel each disc from the roll and press firmly onto a clean, dry 6-inch PSA backup pad before use. Ensure the backup pad surface is free of debris or adhesive residue from previous discs to maintain proper bond. Operate within the speed rating of the backup pad and sander being used. Discard discs showing signs of heavy loading, tearing, or reduced cut rather than continuing to use worn abrasives.
