The 3M 7000119238 is a coated abrasive disc roll in the 426U series, featuring silicon carbide grain on an A-weight paper backing with a Stikita pressure-sensitive adhesive for fast attachment and clean removal. Packaged as a roll of multiple discs, this format is built for high-production finishing environments where quick disc changes and consistent results matter. At 220 grit and 5 inches in diameter, the disc delivers fine-finish cutting action suited to applications where surface quality is critical. The open coat construction and anti-load coating work together to resist clogging and maintain cut rate across a full range of finish materials. Licensed tradespeople and production finishers are the typical end users.
The 7000119238 disc roll is designed for white wood sanding, sealer sanding, and solid surface finishing where a fine, consistent scratch pattern is required. It also performs well on general-purpose sanding of metal, plastic, drywall, fiberglass, glass, clear coat, and ceramic. The roll format is particularly well suited to production shops and assembly-line finishing stations where downtime between disc changes must be minimized. The A-weight paper backing flexes with the backup pad to maintain consistent contact across curved or contoured surfaces.
Designed for use with 5-inch diameter Stikita-compatible backup pads on random orbital and disc sanders used in wood, metal, and solid surface finishing applications.
This disc is installed by pressing the Stikita adhesive face firmly onto a clean, compatible 5-inch backup pad. Ensure the backup pad surface is free of debris before attachment to maintain full adhesive contact. Remove and replace the disc when loading becomes visible or cut rate drops noticeably. Follow all sander manufacturer guidelines and applicable workplace safety requirements when operating abrasive tools.
