The 3M 7000119075 is a coated abrasive belt designed for sanding and finishing applications in industrial and woodworking environments. Built on an F-weight paper backing — one of the heaviest and most rigid paper substrates available — this belt delivers controlled, smooth stock removal with a finer surface finish than cloth-backed belts of the same grit. The P120 aluminum oxide mineral provides aggressive cut and consistent abrasive life. At 75 inches long and 43 inches wide, it is sized for wide-belt sanding machines used in production finishing lines. Licensed tradespeople and production floor technicians are the primary installers and operators.
This belt is suited for wide-belt sanding equipment in residential millwork shops, cabinet manufacturing facilities, and industrial production environments. The open coat construction resists loading when working softer materials such as wood, MDF, and composites. The P120 grit makes it appropriate for intermediate to finish sanding passes where a smooth, consistent surface profile is required before final finishing or coating. It runs effectively in either feed direction.
Designed for use on wide-belt sanding machines that accept a 75-inch by 43-inch abrasive belt. Verify machine specifications for belt tension and tracking requirements before installation.
Installation should be performed by trained machine operators or maintenance technicians familiar with wide-belt sanding equipment. Power down and lock out the machine fully before removing or installing the belt. Inspect the platen and contact drum for wear before fitting a new belt. Confirm belt tracking alignment after installation and before resuming production.
