The 3M 7000119067 is a coated abrasive belt designed for sanding and finishing applications on wide-belt machines. Built on an F-weight paper backing — one of the heaviest and most rigid paper substrates available — this belt delivers consistent, controlled stock removal at P150 grit using a premium aluminum oxide mineral. The open-coat construction reduces loading and extends belt life, making it a practical choice for production environments where downtime and consumable cost matter. A sine wave splice reduces chatter and splice fatigue during continuous operation. At 75 inches long and 43 inches wide, this belt is sized for wide-drum or wide-platen industrial sanders.
This belt is suited for wood sanding, furniture manufacturing, cabinet shops, and panel processing operations where a fine-finish pass is required after initial stock removal. The F-weight paper backing produces finer surface finishes than cloth-backed belts of equivalent grit, making it appropriate for final or near-final sanding stages. It is designed to run in either direction on compatible wide-belt equipment. Minimum order quantity is 5 belts per purchase.
Designed for use on wide-belt drum and platen sanders that accept 75 inch by 43 inch abrasive belts. Verify machine belt-size specification before installation.
Belt installation should be performed by qualified personnel following the equipment manufacturer's guidelines. Power down and lock out the sander before changing belts. Confirm belt tracking and tension per the machine specification before resuming operation. Inspect the splice for proper seating and verify belt direction arrows align with machine rotation if directional markings are present.
