The 3M 7000118805 is an aluminum oxide cloth abrasive belt designed for demanding metalworking and woodworking sanding operations. Built on an X-weight cloth backing, this belt handles heavy stock removal, high heat, and sustained pressure without breaking down. The P120 grit aluminum oxide mineral cuts fast and delivers consistent performance across metal and wood substrates. At 75 inches long and 37 inches wide, it is sized for wide belt sanding machines common in industrial and production shop environments. Qualified tradespeople and shop technicians working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as wood, will find this belt suited to deburring, blending, and general surface conditioning work.
The 341D cloth belt is intended for wide belt, edge, and portable belt sanding applications. Its tube-shaped band construction allows it to conform to inner and outer contours, making it effective for removing parting lines, surface imperfections, and burrs from machined or cast metal parts. It is also compatible with rubber expander wheel attachments used with die grinders or rotary drills when configured for that use. Applications span general metalworking, metal deburring, and select woodworking tasks on both flat and contoured surfaces.
Designed for use in wide belt sanding machines, edge sanders, and portable belt sanding setups. Also fits rubber expander wheel attachments compatible with standard die grinders and rotary drills.
Install and replace abrasive belts with the machine fully powered down and all energy sources isolated. Verify belt tracking and tension according to the machine manufacturer's specifications before resuming operation. Inspect the belt for tears, edge damage, or glazing before each use and replace if any defects are present. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection and gloves when handling and installing abrasive belts.
