The 3M 7000118569 is a Trizact 237AA abrasive belt designed for intermediate finishing and fine polishing applications in metalworking environments. It uses 3M microreplication technology, where micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral is formed into three-dimensional pyramids and bonded to an X weight cloth backing. As the pyramids wear during use, fresh, sharp abrasive is continuously exposed, delivering a consistent cut rate and predictable surface finish throughout the life of the belt. The flexible cloth backing conforms to contoured surfaces, making it well suited for achieving uniform finishes on complex geometry. This belt measures 12 inches in length and 1/2 inch in width and weighs 0.09 pounds.
