The 3M 7000118434 is a coated abrasive belt designed for aggressive material removal on metal, wood, and composite surfaces. Running on belt sanders and file belt tools, it carries a 36-grit ceramic aluminum oxide abrasive on a heavy-duty YF-weight polyester cloth backing. The closed-coat construction packs abrasive grain edge-to-edge, maximizing cut rate on rough stock. At 3.5 inches wide and 15.5 inches long, it fits standard benchtop and portable belt sanders configured for that size.
