The 3M 7000103812 is a brimless, lightweight clear polycarbonate visor designed to help provide high-impact face protection in industrial and construction environments. Sold as a case of 10 units, this faceshield is built for repeated daily use where airborne particles and liquid splash are ongoing hazards. The polycarbonate lens material balances impact resistance with optical clarity, giving workers a reliable sightline while on the job. This faceshield must be used in conjunction with a compatible hard hat and is installed by licensed safety professionals, site supervisors, or the end user as part of a complete head and face protection system. Protective eyewear must be worn underneath at all times and is sold separately.
This faceshield is suited for a wide range of industrial, construction, and utility environments where face protection from flying particles and chemical splash is required. It is engineered for use with the 3M Peltor Hard Hat Adapter P3EV/2 or with 3M Peltor Cap-Mounted Earmuffs, allowing it to integrate cleanly into an existing head protection setup. Typical applications include grinding, chipping, cutting, handling hazardous liquids, and general maintenance work where full-face coverage is required by site safety protocols.
Designed for use with the 3M Peltor Hard Hat Adapter P3EV/2 and 3M Peltor Cap-Mounted Earmuffs. Must be mounted to a compatible hard hat. Protective eyewear must be worn underneath and is not included.
This faceshield is installed by snapping it into a compatible 3M Peltor hard hat adapter or cap-mounted earmuff assembly — no tools are required for attachment. Before servicing or replacing the shield, ensure all other PPE components, including the hard hat and earmuffs, are properly seated and locked. Always verify that the faceshield snaps fully into the adapter with no play or misalignment before returning the assembly to service. Applicable workplace safety standards, including ANSI Z87.1, should be consulted to confirm the complete PPE ensemble meets site and regulatory requirements.
