The 3M 7000088411 is a crepe paper masking tape rated for high-temperature masking operations up to 300 degrees F (149 degrees C). It uses a rubber adhesive that delivers reliable holding power at room temperature and at elevated temperatures, making it a practical choice for paint bake cycles and oven operations. The tan crepe paper backing tears cleanly by hand, resists slivering, and allows one-piece removal without leaving adhesive residue. This tape is also suited for general light-duty holding and bundling tasks in industrial and finishing environments.
This tape is used in automotive refinishing, industrial paint bake operations, and general manufacturing masking workflows. Its ability to conform to irregular surfaces makes it well suited for masking curved or contoured parts before painting or coating. The rubber adhesive bonds to metal, rubber, glass, and plastic substrates. It is available in a 3.94-inch width and sold by the roll, with a minimum order quantity of 8 rolls.
Designed for high-temperature masking applications including paint bake operations and general light-duty holding and bundling in industrial and automotive finishing environments.
Surface should be clean, dry, and free of oils or loose particles before application for best adhesion. Apply with firm hand pressure to ensure full contact, especially on curved surfaces. Remove tape promptly after the bake cycle while the surface is still warm to aid clean removal. This product is intended for masking use only and should not be used as a structural or electrical tape.
