The 3M 7000052600 is a combination hydrogen fluoride cartridge and P100 particulate filter designed for use with compatible 3M half and full facepiece respirators. NIOSH approved, this cartridge and filter assembly provides the highest rated particulate filtration level available, protecting against both oil-based and non-oil-based airborne particles. It is used in environments where hydrogen fluoride exposure is a concern, such as chemical processing, semiconductor fabrication, and certain industrial maintenance applications. Licensed industrial hygienists and safety-trained trades professionals select this type of combination cartridge when both gas and particulate hazards are present simultaneously.
This cartridge and filter combination is suited for use in residential and commercial industrial settings where respiratory hazards include hydrogen fluoride gas and fine particulate matter. Typical installation scenarios include chemical plant maintenance, refinery work, and electronics manufacturing environments where P100-rated filtration is required by the site safety program or regulatory standard. It is selected by safety officers, industrial hygienists, and trade professionals working under respiratory protection programs.
Designed for use with 3M Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000, and FF-400 Series facepieces equipped with bayonet filter holders.
Cartridge and filter assemblies must be installed and changed by or under the direction of a qualified person as part of a written respiratory protection program compliant with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134. Power down or de-energize associated equipment before entering confined or hazardous atmospheres. Ensure the facepiece is donned and seal-checked before entering a contaminated environment. Cartridges must be replaced according to the established change-out schedule or immediately if the user detects odor, taste, or irritation.
