The 3M 7000048708 is a differential double coated tape combining two acrylic adhesives on a polyester film carrier with a 78 lb polycoated kraft paper liner. One side uses 3M Acrylic Adhesive 400, a permanent adhesive with strong peel strength and good low-temperature performance. The opposite side uses 3M Repositionable Acrylic Adhesive 1000, which bonds securely to many surfaces while allowing clean, residue-free removal. The tape is 2 mil thick, 0.5 inches wide, and 72 yards long per roll. It offers clarity and UV resistance suited to window label applications and carries short-term heat resistance up to 250 degrees F.

This tape is used in light industrial, print, signage, and general assembly applications where one surface requires a permanent bond and the other requires repositionability.
