The 3M 7000048428 is a double coated tape built around 3M Adhesive 300, a medium-firm acrylic adhesive applied to both sides of a 0.5 mil polyester (PET) film carrier. The PET film adds dimensional stability and makes the tape easier to handle during slitting and die-cutting operations. A 3.2 mil densified kraft liner protects the second adhesive face until application. The tape comes in a 0.5 inch wide by 36 yard roll and is designed for bonding thin, smooth substrates with low residual stress. Installation Notes
