The open nylon web construction resists loading, which reduces buildup of debris during use. Medium-grade aluminum oxide mineral provides moderate aggression, making this disc well-suited for blending, cleaning, deburring, and finishing a range of metal workpieces. Dust holes are integrated into the disc to support vacuum extraction when used with an appropriate vacuum system.
This disc is intended for light-duty industrial and professional finishing applications on most metals. Typical use cases include surface cleaning prior to coating, edge deburring after machining, and final blending passes where a controlled, consistent finish is required. The medium grade positions it between aggressive cutting and fine finishing, giving technicians flexibility across multiple steps of a surface prep workflow. It is sold individually and intended for use with a separately sourced hook and loop holder pad and random orbital sander.
