The 3M 7000047072 is a 7-inch Surface Conditioning FE Disc designed for edge work, deburring, blending, and coating removal on metal surfaces. Built on a flexible FE substrate, it uses an Aluminum Oxide abrasive that delivers high initial cut rate and maintains extended cut performance throughout the disc's life. The coarse grade makes it well suited for applications requiring aggressive stock removal and high contact pressure. It attaches via a Hook and Loop system for fast disc changes without tools. This disc is intended for use on ferrous materials where high contact pressure and efficient stock removal are priorities. Designed for use with angle grinders and disc sanders equipped with a 7-inch Hook and Loop backing pad and a 0.87-inch arbor, primarily for ferrous metal applications.
Installation and disc changes should be performed with the grinder unplugged or the power source locked out. Confirm the backing pad diameter and arbor size match before mounting.
