The 3M 7000045622 is a Roloc quick-change abrasive disc in the 777F series, designed for both stock removal and finishing on metal surfaces. It combines 3M-engineered ceramic abrasive grain with aluminum oxide in a self-sharpening blend that delivers consistent cut rates and extended disc life compared to straight aluminum oxide products. The disc is backed by a heavy polyester construction rated for medium-pressure use in wet and dry conditions. A grinding aid is integrated into the coating to reduce heat buildup during aggressive operations on heat-sensitive alloys. Licensed HVAC, metal fabrication, and general trade technicians use this disc for surface prep, weld blending, and finishing work.
This disc is suited for medium-pressure grinding and finishing applications on stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium, and similar heat-sensitive metals. The 1-inch diameter and P120 grit make it a practical choice for detail work, tight access areas, and precision finishing tasks where a larger disc cannot be maneuvered. The Roloc threaded attachment system allows fast disc changes on compatible right-angle die grinders and inline tools, reducing downtime during repetitive operations. Both wet and dry application environments are supported by the water-resistant polyester backing.

Installation and disc changes should be performed with the grinder powered off and disconnected from the air supply or electrical source. Inspect the Roloc mandrel for wear before attaching the disc, as a damaged mandrel can result in improper seating and disc ejection during use. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow applicable workplace safety standards when operating abrasive tooling. Disc speed ratings must not be exceeded.
